What people are saying

about Old Windmill Dairy

My family and I visited the Farm for their Fall Festival. We had the most wonderful time, Michael and Ed were very welcoming and all the staff was very nice, too! We bought five different flavors of chevre and can’t wait to try them in different recipes!

Amazing! A small dairy in Estancia with a very laid back, family feel. Michael made special arrangements for us to come out and visit because of our schedule. The goats are adorable! We went to adopt 1 goat and ended up with 3…and a ton of yummy cheese.

Bob R.

Loved the movie night and baby goat cuddling event, it was a great experience. Hanging out with the goats was so much fun, everyone there was really nice and we were very pleasantly surprised with the delicious gluten free s’mores that were offered.

Betty W.

A friend of mine, her 3 yr old granddaughter, and myself came out last night for the Movie Night & Goat Cuddling event. We had a wonderful time. Having someone hand you a baby goat for you to snuggle was like Christmas for me. Thank you for having this event.

A few words from

Ed and Michael

Our passion is making the extraordinary cheese from the best ingredients available. Our goats and cows are raised with love and we believe that’s why the cheese tastes so good.

We attributes our success and growth to our customers and partnerships with other farms and local businesses. These partnerships have created jobs, economic stability and increased the number of hand-crafted artisan cheeses made in New Mexico.

Thanks for visiting and we hope to see you on the farm very soon.
